What’s clear is that Rhode Islanders prioritized the importance of electing pro-business legislators and sending them to the State House with a forceful mandate to rebuild an economy that’s been upended by Covid-19.

The Providence Chamber Political Action Committee spent the better part of the last year identifying General Assembly candidates who were running in races where the outcome would be consequential. We funded them. We circulated their platforms. And we built trusting relationships. We’re confident that this portfolio of candidates will take a balanced approach to their legislative duties in 2021.
